Sam looks like he is an intense person in that picture.. He veins are ripping out every where.. looks like an animal..!!!!

His arms are huge. Each player took a photo with RichRod and the team was whooping on Sam because arms were stretching his jersey. Guys were like stop flexing for the photo and Sam answered back that he wasn't

I have the photo but I'm traveling right now and won't be able to post it until later in the week.

Regarding McGuffie potentially jumping or trying to jump a defender...don't count on it. He got really irritated when reporters kept asking him about it...it would never go away if he tried it during an actual game.

I didn't take a shot at anyone. You guys are seriously the most sensitive group of people I've ever been around. Someone points out that his hand is deformed and upon looking at the photo I agreed. How is that taking a shot?

The actor who played Radar in MASH had a mishapen left hand. He was always carrying a clipboard or something in that hand to cover it up. They never showed it on screen, it's just MASH trivia for us old timers.

Seriously, don't you think his left hand looks odd in that picture?

Not sure how old you are, but I'm a big fan of MASH and was in my teens when the show ended. I did not know Gary Burghoff had a deformed hand

Thats why I brought it up... I think its just because its rotated at a funny angle or something along those lines. Didn't mean to cause such a big controversy with my little observation there haha.

Sorry but I don't remember Mike Hart EVER blasting his teammates. Now Dantonio, Michigan State and OSU are different stories. I hope to see someone step in as the "quote machine" this year.

This is the trash talking I was referring to... I was also pointing out that Mike Hart was hardly soft spoken as he always seemed to have something to say. Now, it seemed to work for Mike Hart as a way to fuel him. But, remember. He wasn't highly touted coming out of high school like McGuffie has been.

Personally, I like the humbleness we're seeing from McGuffie. He could easily have an ego the size of the state he hails from with all of the Youtube highlights and such. It's refreshing to see a kid who wants to still prove himself on the field even with all the attention he's been getting.

It seems pretty clear from talking to the coaches yesterday that both of these guys are in line for playing time.

Talking to McGuffie I was amazed that he was the guy in all the youtube videos. He's incredibly humble and soft spoken. You had to strain to hear him speak among all the stuff going on.

Also, a couple of reporters tried to get bait him in to talking trash about the other RB's and he'd have none of it. Now Fred Jackson he talked more trash about how great both McGuffie and Shaw than they would.

Well, that sounds like ONE major difference between Hart and these 2 highly touted incoming freshmen. We all know that talking trash unfortunately seemed to be one of Mike's strongsuits...
