Sam is currently tied for 5th with 18 HRs on the national leaderboard with Louisiana Lafayette's Holly Tankersley. The leader is Illinois' Angelena Mexicano with 22. Second with 20 is Tennessee Tech's Steph Fischer, and tied for third are Stetson's Andrea Migliori and Campell's Courtney Quinn.

Sam might actually have a good chance to catch up to Mexicano because Michigan will probably be playing longer than Illinois - which is currently on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament. Tankersley will be playing in the NCAA Tournament, as the Ragin' Cajuns are ranked 16th in the country.
