We were down 3-1, until Samantha Findlay belted a two run homerun to tied it up, 3-3, heading to the 4th.

Michigan wins Game 1, 6-2.

The Wolverines and 'Noles are deadlocked at one a piece in the second inning. Robin Ahrberg singled in Carly Wynn in the top of the first, before Sam picked up another RBI as she drove in Giampaolo with a single of her own.

5-2. FSU picks up two in the top of the sixth, both on one wild pitch, but the Wolverines strike back as Giampaolo gets another RBI by bringing Teddi Ewing home on a single.

3-0 Michigan! Maggie Viefhaus doubles to score Angela Findlay from 1st. Viefhaus ended up on third because of the throw home.

Up 2-0 in Game 1 - Giampaolo has both RBIs.

To give a little background on FSU, the Lady 'Noles are 36-23 and 12-9 in the ACC. Their big win came against No. 1 Arizona State back in March. Florida State's low point was its streak where it lost 9 out of 10 games during the ACC season.
