i still dont buy it! because if TP signed at PSU or U of M i guarentee we wouldnt of had this many people verballed like OSU does right now! Alot of these recruits verballed before TP even declared. so i still dont buy it. The success of OSU in the recents years is the main influence for players going to OSU

I totally buy the "TP effect". He was in the limelight as the #1 recruit and milked it as long as he possibly could. He is an incredible athlete and got way more exposure for himself and his future team than he would have otherwise. It wouldn't surprise me if Tressel or someone else at TUOS (I love the new acronym) coerced TP into dragging his recruitment on and on. It's genius, unfortunately.

i dont buy this one bit! its not because of TP............... Its because they have played in the NAtional title game two years in a row and many players like that type of atomosphere. the TP factor is a minor its more of OSU just being really successful

It's unbelieveable that Ohio State has 14 commitments already. Most schools only have 1 or 2 at this point and there are a lot of big schools with none.

Most believe it's the Pryor effect. A lot of these kids like Dorian Bell are saying that they want to play with TP. Looks like they should be adding Berry any day now as well.

I still think RR not offering Zach a scholarship was the central cause of Justin's family values comment, not the new system, conditioning, yelling, etc.

Please tell me there aren't any other Boren's in the family. I'm already looking forward to 2013, when Zach finishes up at tUoOS. Unless of course Tressell retires before then and Papa Boren pulls the same stunt all over again.

tUoOS did not offer him a scholarship until he transferred. The way it looks on the surface it appears that this could have something to do with the transfer. Their father made a big deal of both of his sons playing for the same school.

Just saw on "Scout" that Zach Boren is now a Buckeye commit.
