My dog can shoot the three better than this team can...

Holy crap! I have only had the TV on for about 20 minutes and have watched FOUR three point shots not even hit rim, a few of them from well behind the arc. Zach Gibson just attempted what was practically a half court shot. Are they ever going to realize that THEY CAN'T HIT IT? I am impressed with our defense but if you cant get the ball to go in the hoop you don't deserve a postseason bid.

This is the most despicable effort I have seen from a basketball team. Sims and Harris out talent EVERYONE onthis N'western team yet they act like they don't even want to be there. When I shut it of in complete disgust with about 3and1/2 minutes to go we had 10 poimts in the 2nd half.....TEN FREAKIN POINTS in 17 plus minutes. We play msu tooth and nail and we play the wildcats like we dont give a rats behind.... Attention Michigan players and coaches I as a fan am ashamed of your passion, effort and attitudes. Do us all a favor mr. Harris if you don't intend on leading this team, please leave after this year. Mr. sims you never have come close to your potential(sp) aND i FOR ONE AFTER ONCE AGAIN WITNESSING A GAME YOU SHOULD HAVED dominated am glad you are also outta here. I truly am more pissed off with this b-ball team than any loss from our f-ball team, why? because of one simple word- EFFORT. As far as coach Beilein I really wish you would have some fire or at least light one under your under-achieving team.

I've stated it before.....we have three guys in the top 15 in the Big Ten in 3 point attempts and NONE in the type 50 in three point percentage. If you're 22 games in and shooting that bad, TRY SOMETHING ELSE!!! Run and gun it like the old LMU days; slow it down like Princeton....do something else, because this isn't working!!!

We have completely one dimensional offenses in both basketball and football.

jthorp24 We have completely one dimensional offenses in both basketball and football. You're like a bad fart that just keeps lingering around and stinks up the place. We are in the basketball forum, so I'll make this short and sweet to prove your comment incorrect. Michigan football ran the ball for 2,234yds this year. Michigan threw the ball for 2,380yds. That's an average of 12yds passing more per game. That's pretty balanced to me. By the way, in 2008, Michigan ran the ball for 53yds more. Pretty balanced. Go Blue!!
The division between the Rich Rod supporters and the Rich Rod bashers/Carr supporters is amazing and has turned this place upside down.

Well I missed watching the game last night, but after seeing the score I don't think I missed much. We are more or less out of the NCAA tourney, so with that said, what must happen forthis team to get back to the Dance next year? Better inside play, consistent outside shooting, don't play a 6-5 guard at the forward position in the "beat you up" Big Ten.

It drives me crazy watching us shoot 3's over and over and over. It don't think we are that far away from being a good team.

An inside game would help though, because when our 3 point chuckers are not hitting we could go inside.

we're 8th in the country in 3 pointers taken, and 325th in 3pt makes. sure is obvious why we're not playing well out there. i constantly get frustrated by the bad shots we take, not by the misses of good shots. if you are taking good shots and you miss, well **** happens but missing bad shots is inexcusable. manny harris/llp/morris all have the ability to drive the lane and bounce outside if open. Sims can post up on anyone and can dribble pretty well too. we have no back door cutter game, we have no pick and pop game. you can't make 3's by just running the perimeter for 35 seconds. maybe we'll learn next year.

I'm a believer that Darius Morris is our future. We will go as he gets more comfortable. It's kinda like Tate for our football team.
