RR won't be fired for minor violations, if there are major violations he will and should.

Maybe I missed something, but when did it become public knowledge that Rich Rod would be fired if violations were found?  Is that going to be before or after he gets an extension after next season....

Go Blue!!
The division between the Rich Rod supporters and the Rich Rod bashers/Carr supporters is amazing and has turned this place upside down.

There is no link. But if you think Brandon and Coleman will keep him if he violates NCAA rules is insane. You combined that with all the other moronic things RR has done or said and that there are still people inside who want RR gone and a growing number of alums who want him gone and it is the perfect storm.

BTW, I haven't heard Brandon or Coleman say that RR is safe unless it is major violations. They are keeping a tight lip on this. Yeah, I'm sure that emergency 90 minute Board of Regents meeting was all good news.

It has been a perfect storm since he walked in the door. He inherits a roster filled with players that fit a system that is the antithesis of his style of play. He has no QB, no continuity on D, and no depth what so ever. All the while he is battling the country club elitist attitude that feels they are entitled to have a great team no matter what the circumstances plus complete and utter tools such as Drew Sharp, and yet he does this with a humble awe shucks type attitude (which probably pisses you guys off even more).

Yet you pompous A-Holes are all the time talking about Miles and Harbaugh would be great for Michigan because they are "Michigan Men". Well if they are such Michigan men why did Miles turn us down and Harbaugh insult the program? RR is more of a Michigan Man than either one of those two, he took this job when we were being turned down by the likes of Miles and Schiano (which really tells you something, turned down for RUTGERS). And besides what has Miles and Harbaugh truly done as head coaches? One has won with Saban's players and the other has won 8 games in the PAC 10 that was VERY down this year. Harbaugh only won 5 games in his 2nd season just like RR...yet you people think he is the savior? You people are jokes.

Can't wait for the report to come out and nail RR. Then UM can pull out his contract and point to the part that says if he violates any NCAA rules that UM can terminate him and not have to pay him a dime.

And contrary to what most of you believe there is no way Michigan keeps RR if there is ANY rule violations. This isn't a major violations only type of thing. He gets exposed for breaking any rule he is gone. The UM alumni will not stand for that. And the donors will be in the ear of Brandon (thank God Martin won't have a say) and Coleman.

Sorry, we don't keep cheaters.

You know, BO used to cheat for the good of his players, so I disagree that small violations are a firing offense.  If Rich Rod encouraged a spirit of practicing above the rules to get better as a team, but didn't "require" them...I'm fine by it and if the NCAA want's to disagree I'll side with RR.

Certainly you came across that about Bo in your Michigan Football Textbooks?

you have to log practice time before you can be found guilty of practicing to much.  Rich Rod is the smartest man in the business.

way to go coach!  if you ain't cheatin, you ain't tryin.   If you ain't first, you're last.

The Freep has always been anti-U of Mpro- MSU. That won't change. I don't expect much from the NCAA at all.
