The other recruit Goricki mentions KB was there to see, Crystal Bradford, verballed to CMU several months ago.

Renaissance 6-foot junior guard Asia Boyd is getting a lot of attention. Some college coaches are attending her games; others watch her at practice.
 
 
"Coaches from UConn and Tennessee have come to practice to watch Asia," Renaissance coach Diane Jones said. "UCLA, Michigan State and Michigan have already offered her a scholarship."

 
I don't know if it means anything or not, but Renaissance kids and their coach have been coming to U-M games for a long time - the relationship goes all the way back to former Renn. and U-M player Raina Goodlow.
